Riesling Wine
[REES-ling]
Riesling can be made in any style from bone dry to extremely sweet. This style is called "off-dry" and is typical of what you would find in French Rieslings. For guests that want to try something unique, let them taste the wine, then bite a lemon wedge, then taste the wine again. They will be surprised to see that when paired with acidic foods, the wine is actually quite fruity! In reverse, have them try the wine with a maraschino cherry and the wine will taste tart.
