Our 2021 Barrel Reserve has a rich red brick color with a slightly purple rim. On the nose are aromas of blackberry, cherry, plum, anise, butterscotch, and vanilla. The rich palate is supported by firm yet full tannins, and well-balanced acidity. The finish is rich and long, with flavors of cherry, raspberry, and baking spices. This wine pairs very well with our Cooper’s Hawk Trio of Medallions, the Cooper’s Hawk Leonard Burger, or almost any grilled red meat.
